I think everyone has their favorite redstone machines (and there are people like me who enjoy building them manually 
)
That said, if we each manage different machines, do different tasks, and share resources, wouldn’t that create some kind of low-efficiency cooperative production?

Use bone meal on large flowers to get flowers and make dyes.
No composters in 12.2, so you have to go out and fight skeletons for bones.
@Mr. Wu I have some soul sand, probably in the shulker box on the second floor of my house. Could you put some nether wart in there for me? Need nether wart to keep brewing potions.

Some special machines require startup materials that are too hard to find—I have no idea where to look.
(This morning, I circled the Nether trying to find nether wart but couldn’t locate a fortress—maybe the generation rate is low in older versions.)
